Well, there haven't been any further issues reported about the Indyplanet Digital purchases, so I really hope that's been sorted out. My last contact with their web maintenance crew seemed positive, but I also know they were dealing on a case-by-case situation.
There is one issue I'm going to address and I hope that's all there is, from now on.
Otherwise, I've been plugging away at Jane Issue #2, with no estimated time of completion, as yet.
Aaand...
Some weeks ago I accepted a commission from

for a project about "Forgotten Girls of Elasticity", a fan-centric tribute to elastic comic characters with short-lived appearances. I believe Almond has already started posting these, so please visit his site and let him know what you think.
The entire time I've been on DA I've only done requests for Original Characters by other Deviants. I've never actually drawn any established comic heroes (that I can recall), and I realized it might be overdue. Almond's idea was a great catalyst.
Also, this was a commission rather than a request, something I hadn't done before. I'll consider this a successful experiment.

It was a fun experience, but as a commission I had added incentive to ensure each detail met Almond's satisfaction. He was awesome to work with, had great feedback, input, evaluation, and reference material, and was open-minded throughout. The perfect customer and project partner.

But lastly, the Spanner piece in particular became a cool reward in its own right, because a copy made it into the hands of Ron Lim, the original artist of the X-People in Marvel's J2 series.
This was thanks to the efforts of

(dude, you rock), and it was great to give something back to her designer. As far as I dare hope from
this photo, Mr. Lim was happy to receive it.

And again, it is very much Thanks to Almond's commission that this ever came about (Hyper-Wave Thumbs Up!!!!).
Okay, so...Jane's impatiently tapping her foot, so I better get back to the drawing table. I hope to have more news about the 2nd issue and the Tron pieces, soon. Stay tuned, friends.
Chivo
Thanks for the update.
Keep on plugging at it!
It's small these days. Only three people and they aren't worth the rubber bullets.
I would imagine the Princess getting that annoyed. And, from time to time, I get a few who ask me who gets bigger ... the Princess or some upstart.
The Ron Lim photo and story is icing on the cake.
Hope the allergy season hasn't hit you too hard; I know it's getting to be that time of the year again.
Glad to be of service to you and Almond077.
Ron Lim was really impressed with the final color version, so the both of you should be proud of what you have accomplished.
