Deviousness |
Seeing a shapeshifter who's vulnerable and must wear body armour is a welcome change of pace.
Similar to BJ, I wanted another descending pattern down her body and legs. Part of this might be natural inclination from years of shapeshifting, but would also help with drawing motion and the different shapes.
Guyver Blue, eh? Heh. I've tested a few color schemes and they seem to make the difference when mixing the 2 girls up in a fight.
But I wanted the opportunity to show the difference between my colored and non-colored pieces and Aly seemed a good candidate.
Like eent242 said, interesting contrast to BJ... At first glance, her complex design (to me) would have been hard to draw consistantly, if she only had stretching powers. As we see in your following examples, being a shapeshifter allows her (and the artist) great "flexibility" with regards to picky details such as this...
It will be interesting to see what her color scheme will look like, though right now I've got her pictured in "Guyver" blue in my mind's eye...
